The proceedings of The Tritium Factor workshop summarized in the text is both an important milestone in expert-level discourse on tritium and representative of a salient historical moment before the Soviet Union collapsed. Unfortunately, the book is out-of-print and often difficult to locate.
TMWG has made the necessary notifications to the publishers—the Nuclear Control Institute (NCI) and The American Academy of Arts and Science (AAAS)—and has secured permissions to re-issue the text in an updated and expanded edition. The TMWG members will develop a new introduction, add additional footnotes, and provide broader historical framing.
