Dr Philipp Sauter is a senior research fellow at the Max-Planck-Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law in Heidelberg, Germany. He holds a MSc in physics and a PhD in law. In his research, he focuses on regulatory aspects of fusion energy, with a focus on safety and non-proliferation.
